9.11. Adjustment of a drive of the parking brake

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Prop up forward wheels protivootkatny boots, release the parking brake, then поддомкратьте a back of the car and establish it on props (see an illustration the Scheme of an institution of props for car fixing in the lifted situation).
  2. Under the car release a regulator of a driving cable of the parking brake.
  3. At the working engine several times squeeze out a pedal of a foot brake before the termination of clicking sounds in back brake mechanisms.
  4. Cock the lever of a drive of the parking brake on 4 — 7 clicks and tighten a regulator of a hummock drive.
  5. Count number of clicks of a ratchet at lever procrastination with effort about 20 kgfs. The nominal rate makes 6 — 8 clicks. Release the parking brake and check freedom of rotation of back wheels.
  6. In case of need make adjustment of the sensor switch of a control lamp of the parking brake.
