9.9. Removal and installation of assembly of the vacuum amplifier of brakes

- Remove GTTs (see. Removal and installation of the main brake cylinder (GTTs)).
- In salon of the car remove a fixing pin and disconnect a rod of a pusher of the amplifier from the lever of a pedal of a foot brake.
- Disconnect from assembly of the brake amplifier a vacuum hose.
- Give fixing nuts and remove assembly of the vacuum amplifier from a back partition of an impellent compartment.
- Installation is made upside-down — before GTTs installation make pusher adjustment (see below).

Adjustment of a rod of a pusher

- Connect to the reception union of assembly of the vacuum amplifier the manual vacuum pump and create in assembly depression by depth of 508 mm of mercury. Measure size of a vystupaniye of a rod of a pusher from an assembly casing. The nominal rate makes 10.1 — 10.4 mm. If to adjust a rod it is not possible, replace assembly of the brake amplifier.
