Removal, check of a condition and installation of screw springs and rack-mount assemblies of a forward suspension bracket Before removal of components check a condition of shock-absorbers and screw springs on the car standing on the earth. Removal

- Prop up I will lower the cross-section lever of a suspension bracket.

- Mark the provision of a rack of rather rotary fist, then give fixing nuts and bolts of the bottom support of rack-mount assembly.
- Release nuts of fastening of the top support of a rack to a car body — do not turn on a nut of fastening of a rod of the shock-absorber.

- Remove rack assembly with a screw spring from the car, transfer it on a workbench and clamp in a vice with soft sponges.
|
- Slightly weaken a nut of a rod of the shock-absorber, then compress a screw spring by means of the special tool and finally unscrew a nut.
|
|
- The final otdavaniye of a nut of a rod of the shock-absorber is made after compression of a screw spring.
|
|
- Remove from rack-mount assembly a screw spring.
|
|
Check
|
|
- Estimate smoothness of courses of compression and stretching are resistant.
|
- Examine assembly on existence of signs of development of leaks.
|
|
- Make sure of absence on the piston of cracks, deformations and other mechanical damages.
- The faulty rack is subject to replacement.
|
|
Installation
|
|
- Plant on rack-mount assembly a screw spring (a flat end face up) and make sure of hit of the bottom end face its prutka in reciprocal deepening in a saddle.
|
|
- Track, that the top saddle of a spring appeared is developed by U-shaped cut to DP of the car and on one line with points of fastening are resistant to a rotary fist.
|
|
- Further installation is made as it should be, the return to an order of dismantle of components. Track, that all fixture was tightened with demanded effort.
